Nakatsumiya Shrine enshrines Tagitsuhime no Kami, one of the Munakata Three Goddesses. This shrine has one of the oldest histories among the Munakata Taisha shrines and is a central place of worship for the Munakata Three Goddesses. The main hall is designated as a cultural property of Fukuoka Prefecture, and the worship hall, built in 1928 during the Showa period, is also a notable feature. It is also recommended to participate in one of the shrine\u2019s festivals to experience local culture and traditions. <span class=\"marker\">The Tanabata Festival should not be missed. <\/span>You can also enjoy the beautiful nature of Oshima Island while exploring the area around the shrine.
